I was on a Click Coaching call recently when one of our participants stopped me in my tracks with a simple comment.
We were chatting about creating and designing our life experience when he said, "I used to be a Musterbator. I must do this, I must do that, someday I MUST get this stuff done. Then one day, I just did it."
We all laughed - but it made total sense.
Are you punishing yourself with all your MUSTings - instead of enjoying the process of doing what you love?
When you live each day with a constant vision of how you want your experience to be, you'll find yourself happily making core ections, adjustments, and getting things done - just because you want to.

I have a challenge for you this week.
Your lifestyle is a direct reflection of the five people who are closest to you. If they are positive, you are positive. If they are negative, so are you. If they have money, so do you. Broke, you too!
Choosing who you pay attention to can is tricky, as well.
After spending a few hours cleaning email after a recent trip, I arrived at the conclusion that merely exposing myself uninvited emails of others has the potential to turn their agenda into my To-Do list - taking me completely off track.
So, what about that challenge?
I want you to avoid getting sucked into the email and social media traps that are being set for you this week. Think for yourself. Remember, if you buy in the opinion of others, you also buy into their lifestyle. Make sure you want it.

What do you intend to do with your life today?
When the alarm buzzes in the morning, are you off to the races - giving a scarce thought to how you plan to design in your life that day?
Is that you?
Do you consider how you want to feel? Where would you like to work? What would you like to achieve? Who are the relationships you would like to draw into your life?
Have you done this intentionally? If not, you are winging it. Your days will turn into weeks, months, and years. Your life will fly by with no real direction.
That can change today.
Take a few minutes and do your homework. Allow yourself the chance to self-direct your life. Then, set to work creating it in your daily experience.

Are you living a life of happy un-happiness?
It's easy these days to get caught up in the craziness of life, living with the hope of a bright future, yet being comfortable enough to stay where you are.
It’s as if you are standing on the edge of your dreams and afraid to leap into the unknown. You are comfortably miserable and don’t even know it.
One thing you can count on is when you jump into action to make your dreams a reality; only the first step is scary.
Leap, my friend, leap.

Would you like to experience your day with everything you need to enjoy life magically appearing?
A few years back I made the decision to stop fighting my way to the top and take an easier route with "Attraction Living."
Attraction Living is based the premise that the quality of your relationship dictates the quality of your life. It takes just a few simple steps to master.
Over time you will build a reservoir of people who know, like and trust you - the same folks who will think of you first for a potential opportunity.

People often ask what steps are needed to increase productivity and get more done. By the way, my reason for being more productive is NOT getting more done - it's to allow more time for the things I enjoy.
I begin by understanding that there is a beginning, middle and end in everything we do. You must start. You must progress. You must finish. Doing anything else is just stumbling along.
I use three steps:
Access Actions are used to determine how I will begin - the steps needed to initial the project.
Advancing Actions are benchmarks to monitor your progress and iterations and adjustments needed.
Achievement Actions are steps that are required to bring the project to completion with no loose ends.
You must start. You must progress. You must finish.

Don't label me!
I can't tell you how many times people have said that to me. There's only one problem; I never put the label on them.
I've always believed that you can change the entire direction of your life by changing the how you present to others.
If you want to get ahead in this world, presenting yourself to others is a skill you must master. If you don't, you might not be happy with the label they give you.
Call it positioning, posturing, personal branding, it’s human nature to want to categorize everything - even people. You’ve heard it before; he’s a good guy, she’s friendly, he’s a hard worker, she’s a great Mom.
Do you know who you are?
Do you know how you want others to see you?
Do you know your label?
Something to think about today.

Happy Independence Day - otherwise known as the 4th of July.
Now that we're half-way through the year, I thought you might like to join me in a personal ritual. It's time to take a look at my life and make sure I'm living in a way to makes me happy. You too!
Yes, it's a bit of a "Self-Pursuit of Happiness." However, when we take care of ourselves, we can take care of others.
Here's how I start.
“We hold to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
Sure, I ripped off the Bill of Rights on this one. But, you have to admit, if you follow those words you'll always be on the right path.

I'm a big fan of setting big-ass goals. Dreaming BIG and going for it are my natural state - which is why S.M.A.R.T. goals are not all that smart.
S.M.A.R.T. stands for Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-Bound.
While it may seem like a good plan, I just can't wrap my head around NOT setting goals because they don't seem achievable or realistic.
Since when were big-ass goals achievable and realistic? If that were true, you would already be doing them. Anytime you're moving from dreaming into doing you will be living in the land of crazy and scary.
If you hold yourself to what is achievable and realistic, you might as well keep doing what you're doing.
Dream BIG, my friend. What is scary today will be comfortable tomorrow - and long as you keep moving.

Do you believe in time management?
Frankly, time management is great, right up until you unquestionably want to get something done.
Because it's impossible to manage time. You can only manage yourself. Instead of managing, it's far better to follow a couple of simple rules.
1) Finish one project before you move on to another. Multiple projects only delay the completion of all.
2) Clearly define what must be done to reach your goal - only what is required. Remember, not every action moves you toward your goal - it's only distraction. Be sure you choose your steps carefully.
3) Work to your strength, do what you do best, and make sure you completely want what you're working so hard to achieve.
I bet your list just got a lot shorter.
